Right of withdrawal
In accordance with current legislation, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days from the date of receipt of the product, without the obligation to provide any reason.
Entities that may exercise the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal provided by consumer protection legislation applies exclusively to purchases made by natural persons acting for purposes unrelated to their entrepreneurial, commercial, craft, or professional activity.
Purchases made by entities acting in the exercise of their entrepreneurial, commercial, craft, or professional activity, including purchases made for professional purposes, do not benefit from the right of withdrawal.
How to exercise withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must fill out the form available at the end of this page.
The customer will receive an immediate automatic confirmation of receipt of the request.
The request will subsequently be processed and verified within 48 business hours, in order to ascertain its compliance with the requirements set forth by the applicable legislation.
The customer is required to wait for confirmation before proceeding with the return shipment.
Conditions for exercising withdrawal
The right of withdrawal is valid exclusively if the product is returned:
- intact
- complete with all its parts
- in conditions compatible with a normal verification of the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item
The presence of the original tag is a useful element for verifying the condition of the product. The absence of the tag does not automatically result in the loss of the right of withdrawal, but it may be considered in the evaluation of the condition of the item and any decrease in value resulting from use other than what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning.
Should the product show signs of use, damage, or a decrease in value attributable to the customer, Frido reserves the right to withhold an amount proportional to the loss of value of the item, as provided by current legislation.
Products excluded from the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are:
- personalized
- made-to-measure
- made to order
Made-to-measure products refer to all items made at the customer's request and/or according to specific customizations, as well as products made specifically following the customer's order through dedicated sourcing of materials or components.
By way of example and not exhaustive, this category may include collars, leashes, harnesses, training leads, name tags, gadgets, and other made-to-order items.
Refund
In the event of a validly exercised withdrawal, the customer is entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the product and the standard shipping costs incurred at the time of purchase.
The refund will be issued within 7 business days from the receipt and verification of the return.
The customer may choose to receive the refund:
- via the same payment method used for the purchase
- via store credit
In case of a decrease in the value of the item due to handling other than what is necessary to verify its nature, characteristics, and functioning, the refund may be reduced proportionally.
Return shipping
Shipping costs for the return of the product are borne by the customer.
The customer is responsible for the integrity of the product until its receipt by Frido.
The customer is required to properly pack the product for return transport. Any damage caused by inadequate packaging may affect the refundable amount.
You may use any courier. We recommend tracked shipping to avoid loss.
Alternatively, you may request a shipping label via InPost at a cost of €4.90.
